O.P.I. Pink before you leap "Jumping for more"

Hello everybody!
How are you today?

I don't have much time this week so I this is a short post.
Because of my lack of time I have an old swatch.
It was one of the first photo's I took for publishing on my blog.
This was at the beginning of December 2009.
My nails were quite a bit shorter!

I used O.P.I. Pink before you leap.
I applied it on a layer of Miss Helen nr. 145.
The colors matched so great together.

Well look for yourself :-)
It looks a bit dull on the photo but IRL it looks pretty to me.

Thank you again for reading, commenting and stopping by on my blog!
Hopefully till soon............

O.P.I. DS Jewel "A shimmer in the Dark"

Hi sweet people,

How are you today?
Well it is already Tuesday and the week is going fast for me!!

Today I polished my nails with OPI DS Jewel. I have to say that I had a lot of problems applying it :-(
Maybe because I used a new basecoat, a OPI ridgefiller.
I cracked my thumbnail when I was twelve years old. It was between the door, the door was closed with my thumb between it. It never recovered and I have some rifles on my nail :-(
Thats why I tried the ridgefiller. Anyway I did it fast because lack of time :-(

I can not find the right word for the color.
It has some red flows but it also has something brownish or bordeaux by daylight I guess.

Maybe some of you can help me to define this color???

I tried also some konad but couldn't find the right color so I tried
white konad stamping polish. Again just for trying out.
I used plate 63.

Thanks again for looking over here! I really appreciate it :-)
Well this was all for today. Have a lovely day and I see you around.

O.P.I. We Always Have Paris making love to BeYu nr. 397

Goodmorning this Sunday!

Hope you all are oke today! In the Netherlands
everything is fine!

For the past New Year's Eve I had a try-out mani.
As I mentioned earlier I like the Suedes from OPI
a lot. I tried "We always have Paris" (suede) and made a
little nailart and a french.
I am not very good at this but still practicing.
The french looked nice I thougt.

The color on the first photo is the most matching.

For this mani I used:
Basecoat: O.P.I. Natural nail base coat
For the basecolor: O.P.I. We always have Paris (suede)
For the french: BeYu number 397
For striping: Essence 02 Purple Boost and a kind of fuchsia color
from Claire's (no name)
For decoration: Essence nailart little purple starshaped strass
Topcoat: O.P.I. RapiDry

BeYu polish is a clear polish with glitters.
The color matched awesome with the OPI polish :-)
For striping the Essence striper really did a good job.
You can make thin stripes with it.
The one from Claire's made a rather wide stripe.
So I think you better can use your own brushes.
I like the long thin brushes the most.
As a decoration I used little purple stars from Essence.
They come in a lovely little box as a assortment.

It was all for trying and practicing ;-)
But it was a nice result for me.

I hope you liked it again!
Take care and till next time :-)

O.P.I. Lincoln Park After Dark "The Suede One"

Good evening everyone!

Thanks for all your sweet comments at my post from yesterday!

Today a mani which I wore four weeks ago.
It was the first time that I choose for a suede polish.
This one is from O.P.I. and it is named "Lincoln Park After Dark".
It wasn't easy to apply it because it's a fast drying polish.
It appear to be a bit sandy. I put on two layers and I did not
use a topcoat on this beautiful polish.
It has such a nice shade and I think it looks like fabric on
your nails.
I am fond of it :-)
I definitely will wear suedes much often now.
Well this was all for now. I hope to see you soon and I
wish everyone a nice evening.
Till next time:-)
